CompTIA is a non-profit information technology (IT) trade association. Their vendor-neutral certifications are designed by subject matter experts to assure that they cover the skills and knowledge in demand in the IT industry. Linux+ is a vendor-neutral certification that measures the knowledge and skills of IT professionals with six months experience working with the Linux operating system.
